Core Health Information Management (HIM) Journals

 

The following is a list of journals compiled by AHIMA library staff, with the help of librarians at the College of Saint Scholastica and leading HIM instructors throughout the country. It represents core journals which researchers and other professionals in HIM should be aware of when undertaking any project of reading or research.

 

For each title, there is descriptive information including years of publication, where it is indexed, electronic links, major subject headings associated with the journal in PubMed, whether the content of the journal is peer-reviewed, and the availability of a news feed.
